Residents in Singapore’s growing Bidadari estate can look forward to a new Bidadari polyclinic, set to open by 2027. Announced by the Ministry of Health (MOH) back in 2020, this facility remains on track as part of efforts to expand primary care services across the island.
Location and Accessibility
The Bidadari polyclinic will be built along Upper Aljunied Road, as an integrated development that includes a nursing home. It is conveniently located near Alkaff Lakeview HDB and just a short walk from Woodleigh MRT station. This prime spot will make it easy for families in Bidadari, Toa Payoh, and nearby areas to access quality healthcare.
Services Offered at the Bidadari Polyclinic
Operated by National Healthcare Group Polyclinics (NHGP), the new Bidadari polyclinic will provide comprehensive primary care services, including:
- Acute medical treatment
- Chronic disease management
- Women’s and children’s health services
- Allied health support (e.g., physiotherapy)
- On-site radiology, laboratory testing, and pharmacy
This one-stop centre aims to support the needs of young families and seniors in the community.
Part of Singapore’s Primary Care Expansion
The Bidadari polyclinic is one of several new facilities in MOH’s plan to grow Singapore’s polyclinic network. With the population ageing and Bidadari estate expanding, this development will help deliver affordable, accessible healthcare closer to home.
